The 10 Levels: White to Black Belt Training Outline

Each of these levels is as important as the other and requires the same amount of effort, practice, energy, discipline, and passion. Take a look at some of the main points of each level and what you can expect to learn on your journey to the Black Belt. With no deadlines and no time restraints, more people than ever are joining this community and excelling beyond their wildest goals.

We start with 9th KYU and working all the way to 1st Degree Black Belt.

9th KYU- Kyuukyu- First Level

Basic punching, kicking, structure, stances, and learning how to roll

8th KYU- Hachikyu- Second Level

The 16 secret fists, kicking, blocking
Beginning the Koshi Kihon Sanpo (three basic ways of striking) and Torite Goho Gata. (the five forms of grappling)
Learning Gokui/San Shin No Kata (Three Hearts Forms)
The weapon is Hanbo (half-staff)

7th KYU- Nanankyu- Third Level

Leaping skills, flips, and handsprings
More Koshi Sanpo (striking) methods and Torite Goho Gata (grappling) methods
The weapon is Katana (Sword)

6th KYU- Rokkyu- Fourth Level

Dakentaijutsu (striking techniques)

A Message from Dai Shihan Roemke

As your master teacher, I have studied and taught Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu for two decades and am licensed to teach by the Ninjutsu Grandmaster Soke Hatsumi. As a 15th Dan practitioner and a member in the Shidoshi Kai teachers association of the Bujinkan, I bring the very best of knowledge, skill, tradition and more to all of my students.

This training program is very important to me and I want to make sure YOU get the most out of each and every step we take together.

I understand the extra amount of difficulty that can come from not being face to face in my DOJO and receive hands-on guidance and immediate feedback.

What is Bujinkan Ninjutsu?

Ninjutsu (忍術), sometimes used interchangeably with the modern term ninpō (忍法), is the strategy and tactics of unconventional warfare, guerrilla warfare and espionage purportedly practiced by the shinobi (commonly known outside Japan as ninja).

The Bujinkan (武神館) is an international martial arts organization based in Japan and headed by Masaaki Hatsumi. The combat system taught by this organization comprises nine separate ryūha, or schools, which are collectively referred to as Bujinkan Budō Taijutsu. The Bujinkan is most commonly associated with ninjutsu.

We are pleased to offer you a great way to earn rank in the Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu training system. Our complete curriculum is specially designed for those who do not live close to a dojo and would not be able to train or test for rank in person. At Ninja Training TV, we have created a totally online system for training and even advancing in rank and receiving feedback from Sensei Mark Roemke at every step.

To Earn Rank and become a certified black belt per Grandmaster Hatsumi Sensei’s World Renown Japanese Bujinkan Organization we here are the steps.

1. Buy the complete White to Black Belt set or each level at a time.
2. Purchase Japanese Bujinkan Organization Membership (one-time fee $55).
3. Purchase "Earn Rank" after each completed level (you can choose from the two options mentioned at the top of this page).

It is $50-$100 to test per kyu level and you need to join the Bujinkan which is $55 for the year you can test as soon as you are ready to test for your next rank.

There are no time requirements in our system. It is recommended that you train for 2 to 3 months for the first few kyu levels in between each so that you assimilate the Bujinkan into your body and mind.

To Earn Rank you will submit your content for each level. Upon submission, Shihan Roemke reviews, analyzing and responds with his feedback, approval, or request to re-submit at a later date.
