Great training video and instructions. The content is easy to understand and follow along too. You really don't need to be in a dojo to learn the technical information. Sooner or later though once you get to Shodan you would probably want to get some real life training in at a dojo or with a partner to reinforce the learning and get some muscle memory until it starts to feel natural without putting any thought into the moves/maneuvers.

I'm not a new to kisari fundo, and I really appreciated the matherial.
This has been a wonderful option for our 14 year old son to learn, train, and be to earn rank amidst our busy family schedule.

It was a good film but you should have included more techniques and a little less repetition of the techniques. It should have been with kuji kiri or kuji in. execution. It is included with history of art of taijutsu
Instructions are detailed and easy to follow! I think it'd be difficult for anyone who trains at least three days a week to not get better!
I like that when he teach or demonstrate a move, He fully gives the history between it.
I love the zoom classes. Everything is spot on and perfect. Helps to be able to train anywhere
I have been doing these zoom classes twice a week since covid. The importance of hands-on training is often emphasized in training, but the shift to online platforms like Zoom has proven to be an interesting and viable option, especially in recent times when in-person classes became difficult with covid. I found that as well as training in the dojo, online classes offer a unique experience where you can bring a partner along and receive guidance from a variety of skilled instructors. Awesome!
I think the video is a phenomenal start to my journey. If I had to make any suggestions, it would be primarily with the stances. Maybe a slight bit more information on their application and the when and why I might choose one stance vs another. I've done some google searches and found that some are defensive, while others are offensive, etc. It would be nice to have a slight amount more detail about them in the video.

I do the recordings and learn quite a lot. I do indeed truly appreciate being told what’s Hollywood technique and what will actually work in a situation. I’m a small dude which is why I picked ninpo 3 decades ago

I was an aikido uchideshi for 1.5yrs where i also studied BJJ and muay thai. Additionally, i have studied iaido by video tutorial. This course is innovative as it is credible and well thought out. A STUDENT BY VIDEO COURSE, TRAINING ANYWHERE WORLDWIDE, CAN OBTAIN THEIR 1ST DEGREE BLACKBELT CERTIFIED BY HONBU! I am so all about this and am going fullthrottle!
