How to Officially Earn Rank in the Bujinkan

Training through this Second-Degree Black Belt Course gives you the knowledge, skills, and waza to progress from Shodan to Nidan. However, official rank in the Bujinkan is recognized only through testing and certification under the authority of a licensed Shidoshi or Dai Shihan. Practice of Bujinkan Ninjutsu Training - Black Belt

To officially earn rank, you will need:

  • Bujinkan Membership – To be recognized internationally, you must maintain an active membership with the Bujinkan organization in Japan.

Earn Rank

Option:

Join the Japanese Bujinkan Organization and EARN RANK with these Training Videos!

We are pleased to offer you a great way to earn rank in the Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu training system. Our complete curriculum is specially designed for those who do not live close to a dojo and would not be able to train or test for rank in person. At Ninja Training TV, we have created a totally online system for training and even advancing in rank and receiving feedback from Sensei Mark Roemke at every step.

To earn rank and become a certified black belt per Grandmaster Hatsumi Sensei’s world-renowned Japanese Bujinkan Organization, here are the steps:

  1. Buy the complete White to Black Belt set or each level at a time.
  2. Purchase Japanese Bujinkan Organization Membership (yearly fee $55).
  3. Purchase “Earn Rank” after each completed level (you can choose from the two options mentioned at the top of this page).

It is $50–$100 to test per kyu level, and you need to join the Bujinkan, which is $55 per year. You can test as soon as you are ready to advance to your next rank.

There are no time requirements in our system. It is recommended that you train for 2 to 3 months between the first few kyu levels so that you assimilate the Bujinkan into your body and mind.

To earn rank, you will submit your content for each level. Upon submission, Shihan Roemke reviews, analyzes, and responds with his feedback, approval, or a request to re-submit at a later date.

Don’t get discouraged if you’re asked to resubmit. We’re here as a team to work with one another, learn along the way, and advance together.
