I have learned a great deal this far. Excellent!! Better than I expected!!
I’m learning so much from the Zoom classes and the tecuniques is so good explaned 🙏🥷
Great review of the fundamentals! Get your ninjutsu off to a solid start with these principles.
I do the recordings and learn quite a lot. I do indeed truly appreciate being told what’s Hollywood technique and what will actually work in a situation. I’m a small dude which is why I picked ninpo 3 decades ago
Very Good and an Excellent Course. Well presented and structured for easy learning and application.
I was an aikido uchideshi for 1.5yrs where i also studied BJJ and muay thai. Additionally, i have studied iaido by video tutorial. This course is innovative as it is credible and well thought out. A STUDENT BY VIDEO COURSE, TRAINING ANYWHERE WORLDWIDE, CAN OBTAIN THEIR 1ST DEGREE BLACKBELT CERTIFIED BY HONBU! I am so all about this and am going fullthrottle! You have created a monster, Mark sensei…(insert Tiger Mudra, bow)
Mark demonstrates a real passion for the art of Ninjutsu. His knowledge and application of techniques are insightful and very practical for self-defence practitioners.
I feel as a newbie it awesome to get complete a childhood goal learn from. A real master at a distance
I am so appreciative that i can learn and study NINJUSTSU from my home it is very understandable and he shows the movement very clearly i feel i know something about being a NINJA!.
I took a year of ninjutsu when I was a kid and the Kyu in this system are full of techniques that make more sense in the order that they’re presented. Sensei Roemke goes into good detail, along with the pdf makes it easy to start the techniques, so one can then improve on their abilities. Thank you all involved in the production and thank you Soke Masaaki Hatsumi.
I bought the whole lot. Quality instruction and videos, more than i bargained for and exactly what i was hoping for from ninjutsu.
This program is designed to be done solo or with a partner. You can rank even if you have no partner. You will be self training and being evaluated on your technique and knowledge of the course material on the videos you submit. The feed back will let you know if your headed in the right direction. You get to use creativity and may use any aids you can come up with to demonstrate the material. This is about self exploration and personal growth. The video is professionally put togeather and easy to follow along for each belt level. Much of the test material will be repeated as you go up through the ranks with minor changes at each level. The hardest part of the whole course is motivating yourself to do it and hitting the record button on your phone. The online classes offered are a big help for those interested in doing them and we have a ninja training tv facebook group where you can connect with other students and share your videos and see other peoples videos and get their feed back. I been doing it for over a year and I have black belt in Taekwondo and krav maga. My past training has helped but with no training one can still learn the material. It a tough road but you will learn to think outside the box. Keep in mind that most martial art training even in the dojo is solo. Training consistantly and regularly is the key to progress. 10 to 15 min a day is better then non at all. Maybe 5 to 10 mins in the morning and 10 to 15 in the evening adds to 15 to 30 mins a day x how ever many days you can do. A piece of pvc or a cane or walking stick can be used instead of a bo staff or hanbo. A used stack of tires can be used to strike instead of a heavy bag, a pencil or pen can be used in replace of a knife, shadow boxing is a great training tool, A tree or a 4X4 post can stand in as a substitute partner, the possibilities is endless. The option to rank is your but it there if you want to do it. It is not a requirment but all the test can be done at home solo except for your test for black belt which would have to be done in person. Try it today and look me up on the ninja training tv face book group. I be happy to assist you and share ideas and walk you through the process.
It a great course and the testing couldnt be easier really although I made it difficult because I not tech saavy with a cell phone and it camera features. Then I had to learn how to upload the videos to a google drive folder. This was the most challenging piece to me and of course I was not really sure how to go about it the process but all I had was the paper showing 9th kyu material and the video demonstrating what I had to do. The material was the easy part, I have previous martial art training background to aid me, but organizing it for demonstration purposes I was unsure of but I took on the challenge and passed. Now I preparing for my fourth test and I find myself doing 20 or 30 takes before I get a video I either happy with or so frusterated trying I say %$$## it and I just send it in and see what happens. Once the camera rolls everything you was doing great with fall a part. Expect it. Since I never seen a online test and my only reference is that what I seen live and done myself in dojo I had to use that as a model to follow. The path of testing and training will be to develope yourself in areas not just in martial art skill but how to over come the challenge of learning skills to pull it off which involves out of the box thinking. Ninjitsu is about thinking outside the box and being creative. All objects can be used as a training aid and for demonstrative purposes and as I learn new material I keep thinking how is the best way to demonstrate this technique? Is it with a person or a grappling dummy? My wife and kids not going to allow me to do this technique on them so what can I do with a 4x4 post, some pvc pipe and duct tape, rope, flower pot, etc. . I have a jacket hanging up in the closet, maybe I can do something with that to demonstrate an arm lock? This is the challenege of online training and testing but I will say it been a great journey in personal development because now my mind is in the constant mode of looking at objects and asking what can I do with this and how many ways can I use it for ways it wasnt intended for like a stack of business cards, a door, door knobs, etc. Can I use it in self defense or gardening or fitness or a training aid. This is an art that goes way beyond striking and grappling. How can I find ways to use an object or skill to maybe escape a tragic situation or survive the wilderness. Just remember this course was designed to be done with a partner or solo. Solo training is not easy but over 90 percent of ones training to achieve skill development is done by solo training. Athletes solo train majority of the time so why shouldnt we?
As one blessed with Autistic skills, I find this course beneficial in so many ways and frusterating.
Training ninjitsu was something I wanted to do back when I was 14 ( I 56 now) . It my fantasy come true. I have earned two black belts ( taekwondo and krav maga) , trained in shotokan and arnis/escrima and some BJJ. My inspiration was Stephen Hayes who trained and wrote books with Master Hatsumi. It was all the training one could get unless you was in japan or attended a work shop by Hayes. No youtube, google or videos back in those days. Now I can take classes and study via video and online training by another student of Master Hatsumi in Mark Roemke. Plus earn rank . Times have really changed .
Mark is a great sensei
Top quality instruction and a practical application of the techniques makes this worth every penny. I was only able to make it to my current Bujinkan Dojo once a week, due to my job. I started watching Sensei Roemke’s videos daily and have made a noticeable progression in class. I really enjoy his teaching method and will be a customer for many years to come. Very thankful to have found these videos.
This program has been tailored perfectly for anyone; brand new into martial arts, or decades of training; for learning Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu. There is nothing left for “guess work.” Dai Shihan Roemke gives you the tools to build the survival fighter mindset, and describes every movement to it’s smallest detail. 11/10 worth every penny, even if you don’t plan on ranking up. (Plus Roemke Sensei has a teaching style that shows he genuinely cares about the trade and about your experience in learning it)
I been working with the online classes in the archives for about 6 weeks and have enjoyed the training. I bought the online course lass year and have done a few online rankings which was new and odd as my experince in martial arts has been through live classes. I found this online class experince to be very helpful in understanding the material covered in the video course. Many new ways of executing techniques and spotting oppertunities to strike I have missed . I think I will be doing this going forward especially when I not studying martial art on person. It is taking my self defense training to a new level. I think you owe yourself the chance to try it out
I have been to the Bujinkan in Atalnta,Ga. and I will say with no hesitation That its people and Instructors were and are Authentic in every way.I have been in class with Bud Malmstrom, and many other Instructors.Though it has been along time since I have bowed in a class setting these training videos you see here are the real deal.If you can not make it to a Dojo that teaches this art-then THIS is the way to go and you will have earned every bit of time and money you put into it.Don't take my word for it-find out for yourself. You will be glad you did!
Just over a half hour but lots of great info on how to deploy and use a weapon so few talk about and little exsist on how to use. I been thinking about what weapons I can carry as I get older on me that will not be viewed as a weapon. While I train with knives and fire arms these are not something I can take anywhere or every where in todays society. A hanbo teaches me how to use a umbrella, walking stick, or cane and A fork or cell phone can be used as a substitute for a knife. With this I can use a belt, a key chain, a small extension chord. I I bought this because I see little offered on this weapon and I was not disappointed in the investment. Look forward to an advance video one day
